TTC with Endometriosis

I have severe stage 4 endometriosis, and have been TTC for seven months. I have had three surgeries to laser the endo, and alsohad one ovary removed due to an endometrioma. I have not yet tried any fertility drugs, but am interested in maybe clomid. However, I have been told that clomid may increase the growth of endo, so I am nervous about that if I end up not conceiving. Does anyone know more about this or have experience taking clomid (or even follistim) with severe endo?

Fertility meds are going to affect the endo. They all do. It's really a vicious cycle. The upside is that they do create more follicles creating more *targets* to hit when TCC.
The best treatment for endo is to have a lap to remove any visible signs of the endo; followup with treatment with 3 months of Lupron to shrink any remaining endo and create a more hospitable uterine environment; then move immediately into TTC with your fertility meds or IVF. At this point you will have about 3-6 months of ideal conditions for conception, after that the endo may start to come back.

Best wishes to you...I know how frustrating all this is!
