What have you accomplished lately?

Thought it might be good to focus on some things that we have done recently... no matter how small or large the task. I know with the depression and the social anxiety at it's height it's hard but this is what I've done as of late:

Got all the holiday decorations put away... 5 boxes of ornaments, 2 boxes of lights, tree skirt and stocking, and artificial wreaths...

Decluttered the medicine cabinet and toiletires in the master bath.

Had DS 8th birthday at the computer cafe.

Took younger DS to the zoo and enjoyed finding some other Moms with kids at his nursery school. This was a biggie for me with the social anxiety.

Arranged for older DS to have a friend to sleepover.

Went to the mall. Didn't find what I needed but I went and looked for a chest for the boys, an electric blanket, and also looked for shoes for me. I don't like getting out and I hate shopping and I did both-LOL!

Good idea MAV!

Let's see the temps finally warmed up...-50 to +50 within 3 days! So all the snow melted and my basement flooded...I've got the majority of it cleaned up--still working on drying out the carpets.

Snow melted off the roof making a 5-6 foot berm in front of my garage door trapping me in...my folks came over and we got it all shoveld and moved away so now I can drive in and out of my garage again!

Got our youngest pup Kimber spayed last Tuesday and I've managed to keep a check on her and she is healing nicely---the vet did an awful job.

And I finally went grocery shopping during the afternoon with all the crowds and made it out of the store without losing it!!

Lots of freaking out and talking myself down this week.

Ruger -- I've seen the flooding in your area on the news. I'm sorry you had to deal with flooding.

My big accomplishments for the day -- 2 loads of laundry and helping stack a bunch of firewood.

I cleaned up our backroom its an extra bedroom but its connected to the outside by a doggy door and our house is so small we use it for storage...so that is clean... you would be surprised at how much one can get done with an ipod strapped to her side... lol

I was doing better. Getting dressed, SHOWERING, small house cleaning. Now I am sick and just getting by. But the depression/anxiety is much better.
