When we were considering Ukraine a possible destination, we also hesitated at first. The country is rather poor and has loads of political and economic problems at present. But the things aren’t as bad as we thought. We went to Kiev. It’s a capital city of Ukraine. When we visited it, it was very peaceful. We didn’t have to look for an apartment. The clinic provided us with a comfortable flat not far from the city center. They also provided us with transportation services. When we came to Kiev, we were met at the airport by the driver. Every time we needed to visit the clinic, they sent a car to pick us up. It was really very handy. They even provided us with free meals. When we had free time, they organized a short tour around the city. It was so exciting. If we didn’t have to visit the clinic, I would think that we were on the trip.

JohannaS, thanks for your post about Ukraine. I really thought it’s dangerous to go there. It’s great that they offer your free accommodation and transportation services. I also consider these services to be quite handy. At least, nothing will drag your attention during your visit to the clinic. Could please share the list of the health tests they asked you to do during your visit to the clinic? I’ve got interested in this clinic too.

The list of the tests they require is a standard one. I did some blood and hormone tests. I also did some ultrasound checks. My hubby did a sperm test.
P.S. I think it’s better to visit their official website. They have put the list of the tests they require there. You may also find the samples of the contracts they offer on their official website. For me, it’s really very handy.

My DH and I visited the official website of the clinic the other days. I should say that they do offer egg donation packages for very favorable prices. In addition, we liked the fact that they would provide us with free accommodation and transportation services. Not all fertility clinics are ready to provide such services. We contacted their program coordinator and she told us that we may visit the clinic next month. We’re going to visit Biotexcom the following month. Frankly speaking, I feel a little bit nervous about all these things.

I’m really glad for you, hun! Are there any news? Did you visit the clinic? If yes, did you like it? Did they provide you with a comfortable accommodation in Kiev? What about your program manager? Did you like her?
P.S. I wish you good luck, dear, and send loads of baby dust on you!!!

Hi, everyone. We did visited Biotexcom nearly a month ago. We visited their official website and quite liked the egg donation package they offered there. My hubby and I decided to meet the reps of this clinic. What should I say? Firstly, we quite liked the fact that they met us at the airport. Our program manager was rather good. She did all things to make us feel comfortable during our visit to Kiev. We also liked the RE we contacted there. Of course, the clinic was overcrowded, but it’s worth to wait a little bit to consult a real specialist, I reckon. We signed up a contract with them and now they are looking for an appropriate egg donor for us.

Hi, Sunberry! I’m really glad about you. Biotexcom does seem to be a good clinic. They have rather high success rates. In addition, they don’t charge much for their services. The only thing they do have quite a lot of clients, so the clinic may be overcrowded. However, if your client manager is a responsible one, she would all possible things to make you feel comfortable.
