    Very scared and confused

Hi! My name is Sandy and I just registered in this forum. I am a 31 year old mother of 2 and just found out that I am pregnant with number 3. The only problem is that I had my tubes tied, cut, and burned 3 years ago. When I was 7 days late for my period I tested and got a faint positive. Since then I have taken 7 tests! LOL Including one at the docs. All positive. I have had three ultrasounds so far. On the first 2 they found nothing at all in my tubes or my uterus. I had my third one yesterday and we saw a very tiny sac in my uterus. I thought I was in the clear and going to have a normal pregnancy but the doc said that I am still not in the clear and have to be closely monitored. I have had a few pains here and there but nothing I havent felt before. Other than that I just feel bloated all the time. I had what I think was implantation spotting on the day I was due for my period (November 11) and none since. Not even a drop! My question is, Could I have a sac in my uterus and still have an ectopic pregnancy? They didnt see anything in my tubes at all. Im just really scared! I really want this baby. My boyfriend and I had been discussing getting a reversal before this so it will be a miracle if I can carry this baby and I will be sooooo happy! If you made it this far, thank you so much. Please help!!!

I would say if your tubes look clear and they did see a small sac in your uterus, chances are pretty good that it's not an ectopic unless you are pg with multiples. They are probably just being cautious b/c it is still very early.

Keep us posted and Congrats on your miracle baby!!!

Both of my tubes have been removed at the corneal due to corneal ectopic pgs. My OB/Gyn told me to contact him right away if I miss a period or feel pg. He said that it is still possible to get pg without tubes.

I am totally encouraged by your story. I want to have another baby too. I have been praying for a miracle surprise pg. Please keep us posted on your story. I can't wait to hear what happens with you.

Praying that you get your desired outcome.

    Good luck, girl!!

    congrats to you!!
I had a pg from a tube that was removed due to a rupture. Looking closer at the hsg films taken a year apart, it showed I put a hole in the stump, rare, but possible!!

As for seeing a sac and an ectopic, yes, it is possible, called a pseudo sac. Hopefully this isn't the case with you!!

Thank you so much for your replies. I am 23 days past my due date for my period. So thats a good sign. I forgot to tell you that my HCG levels are doubling like a normal pregnancy too. Hopefully this means something good. They saw a sac in my uterus.........shouldnt they have been able to see something in my tubes? This is driving me crazy!! I cant wait to find out one way or the other! I have a doc appointment on wednesday night so I guess I go from there. Thanks again. I really appreciate it!

Good Morning! I just wanted to give a little update. I spent most of yesterday at the docs in severe pain. I thought it was over. Well, come to find out, it was a cyst that he thinks might have ruptured. Man did it hurt. He says that the chances of me having a sac in my uterus and it not being a baby are about the same as getting struck by lightning. He is very positive that this will be a normal pregnancy. I will get my hcg levels back today around noon so we will see how that goes and tomorrow I have another ultrasound. Its hard to get excited because Im still a little scared to but I will keep you posted! Have a good day!!!
