what happened to my watched item?

I have been watching an item for a few days and today it is gone. Their is no trace of it. What could have happened to it? Do buyers just take items off ebay?

It already had bids on it too.

Thanks

okay i found it. It was relisted with 0 bid for 6 days from now. All the bids were gone.

I am surprised as the bids were pretty good and it wasn't even finished. Darn, I was actually going to bid on this one this morning.

Why would a seller do this?

probably got canned by ebay and seller had to relist. It can be canned for spamming , such as 'Like New" in the title or listing if the item is not new. Could have been turned in and auction killed and seller had to relist. My guess is something of that nature where they broke a rule of some sort.

could be what Briar said...
Or there could have been a mistake in the original listing.....I had a dress recently that I listed....it was up to $50 and it was perfect. Well, I had it hanging and my husband moved it. The sleeve got caught in a door and I discovered it had been damaged while the auction was still running. I cancelled the bids and auction....photographed the damaged sleeve and relisted.
