DFET t/f Aug 9th (pg, child, adoption, everything ment)

It has been years since I've pursued our infertility. We did IVF 11 years ago and have a 10 year old son. Then, we did a DFET 7 years ago which was neg. Then we adopted our dd 6 years ago from China. Then we had a natural surprise pg 1 1/2 ys ago which ended in m/c and which started the whole ball rolling again in our hearts. So, we are doing DFET again and our t/f is Aug. 9th.

I started Nuvaring last week. I start Estrace and Vivelle and baby ASA next week. I get lots of migraines. I'm pretty concerned that the meds are going to ramp up my migraines further. Any other side effects anyone has noticed that I will want to be on the look out for?

Hey momla! Welcome to the board!

I don't know about side effects. You may want to post on the "beginning DE cycle" thread, as that is the active thread on this board. I think most of the member just subscribe to that thread and don't come to the main board much.

    Crystal,
Just wondering -- why don't you think of starting a new (maybe seasonal rather than monthly?) thread for people starting a DE cycle. I don't know, it feels kinda weird to jump in on page 473 of an ongoing conversation ... Just a suggestion

I'm doing a DE FET 8/7 & decided this is the place for me to jump on! I've seen some of your name before (from a few years ago) others are completely new to me. Either way, GOOD LUCK to everyone here!!!

momla- nuva ring was difficult for me mechanically speaking. I have stage IV endo with all sorts of adhesions. The ring was just always uncomfortable inside. Other than that, I don't recall any major issues. Being on the ASA may help prevent those pesky migraines though, depending on what type of migraine you get.

Who else is cycling or transferring in August?

kumleam + mommala--me too. but i usually post over on the PVED.ORG boards (summer cycle) since there is a larger contingent of people cycling at the same time & organized by season. my transfer is in late august so i've just started the BCP part and then monitoring will start 8/3.

    good luck you guys!

I tried, and nobody from the long thread wanted to leave it. Please feel free to start a new thread! As I am not cycling, I feel funny being the one to start it...
