Zephyr - OMG, the digging thru the trash brings back memories!I agree --- when I found myself doing those things, that's when I said enough. But honestly, I wouldn't have traded that entire experience for anything (well.... maybe for a BFP).
I will be on the Vivelle patches. Ya, I am not thrilled with the lovely long needles of the PIO. The Lupron needles are much easier to get past the nerves.

Hi ladies--
Update for today: my lining is 9-10mm with triple stripe. Yay! And my donor has 20 follicles "that they measured"--not sure what that means for how many of them are likely to keep growing, but I'll take it. It's funny because they keep saying "it's still early" (along with "things look good" and "things are going really well") but it's *not* that early! I mean, they expect her to trigger in 2-4 days according to my calendar! Deep breath. So back to trying to take it one day at a time. My donor's next scan is on Sunday, when I'm guessing they'll determine her trigger and retrieval dates.

Kore- have fun on you road trip.
Zephyr- those numbers sound positively awesome. I guess some clinics just don't count follies under a certain size...because most likely those wouldn't mature Enough when trigger time cones around. I can't believe your donor will be triggering soon. Keep us posted!

Have fun, Kore!
My update: my donor triggered today! I'm a little freaked out because although she had 20 follicles at the last scan, today she had 14, with 11 "in retrieval range," e.g. 15mm or bigger, I think. I was hoping for more, especially since she started out with so many follicles; last time my donor had 10 mature eggs and we ended up with 3 blasts, two of which implanted but miscarried early on. I'd like a little more breathing room than that this time around. (As I'm sure we all would!) So trying to just let it be, since there's nothing I can do about it anyway. So retrieval is on Tuesday, and then starts the week of daily calls: how many eggs? How many fertilized? Are we doing a day 3 transfer? Day 5? How many to freeze? I think this is the worst part of the process for me, honestly, even worse than the 2ww. Getting incremental news each day make me anxious! The great news for today, though, is that I just did my last lupron shot. Huzzah!
How is everyone else doing?

Zephyr - OMG, the trigger day came faster than I thought. Hopefully, by the time they retrieve, a few more of the "smaller" follies may have caught up and be mature and big enough to get in on the fun. This is exciting. C'mon little eggies! FX for ya.

Thanks, Tri! They got 29 eggs today. I'm sure not all of them are mature based on the last ultrasound, but we'll see how we do. Fertilization report tomorrow. I'm happy so far!

Just got the call--14 normal embryos! They were able to ICSI 20 of the eggs; 8 were immature and 1 didn't make it. After ICSI, 5 didn't make it and one had too much genetic material in it. I'm feeling optimistic. At the moment I'm scheduled for a day 5 transfer, subject to change if the embryos don't do well. Next update is on day 3, Friday.
How is everyone else doing??
