Donor sperm

Hello ladies
my best friend needs help!! she wants to have a baby but not married so she decided to go with donor sperm. Since i never dealt with donor gametes i don't know what to tell her. If you could guide us toward some places that would be great!! we live in NYC

sperm banks

I have used fairfax for all my donor sperm. They seem to be the least expensive one.

I used California Cryobank. . . they're a little more expensive but my doctor highly recommends them based on his experience with the different banks.

I've been using Midwest Sperm Bank - I looked around when we started trying and they had the most reasonable prices ($200/vial) and didn't have all the 'fee's' the other banks seem to have. Joanne, the woman who runs the place is a little interesting but she's very helpful, even gave us her home number to call if we had any questions since our first attempt was over the weekend.
