Hope you get good news are you going to try transfer this cycle or need to lupron prep for next month? I guess it depends on test results if you transfer this month would guess it would be about middle of Jan. Good luck.

Oh and for Furrvis I stalked that donor board and then Denise alerted me to a new donor that had my look and I went with her. So, no she was not proven but she did good. Not a rock star but good. I was disappointed at first expecting like 20 eggs or something but I look at the stats of other donors all the time and she holds up. They retrieved 9 eggs, 7 fertilized, I transferred 2 w/ a positive HPT on 5dp5dt and I have 3 frozen. Unfortunately I miscarried but that is not the donor's fault.

I see some donors that have like 25 eggs but the fert rate isn't as good and the recipient isn't left with any frozen embryos.

I am not planning on doing another DE cycle b/c I am praying one of my FETs take but I do have myself on some lists now. I am on 2 splits list and 1 single donor's (my donor) lists. The list can move fast or slow. You never know. But don't bother if they have double digit lists. I had 2 DE cycles cancelled over the summer due to lining issues (too thick) on my part and one of the donor's whose list I was on at the time came up and I was 8th on her list. She came up as available so you just never know. If someone comes up, jump on it. Don't even wait 20 minutes b/c someone else will get it.

Denise is awesome at alerting us to donors. She alerted me and Grn to our donors plus she alerted me to some donor embryos that I jumped on! I am so grateful to have that back up!

And I do know about having the holidays ruined by this journey. It is so hard. I had my D&C right before Thanksgiving and on my last m/c it literally happened on St. Patrick's Day while at work. But they won't be ruined forever. It's only for now b/c the holidays of the future will be filled with babies!

She has 3 kids of her own, and I had planned on cycling a split with her after your cycle. She stimmed way to quickly with me, only 5days of stims...so I thought that accounted for the crappy quality. After this, I will move on to another donor if/when I want more kids. If it were me, I'd pick a new donor. Someone new, that can cycle asap. They should let u use ur comp cycle with someone new.

Denise if you see donors who are O or B blood type, white, pref blue eyed and over 5'5" i'd be interested--even if they don't fit all these types (blood and slim body build and height are my main prefs as those replicate my genes). I started on the board last January and this is the first time anything came up--I grabbed an available donor before someone else did. The lists just didn't move at all--on one I swear I went from 3rd to 2nd and back to 3rd, then to 2nd and finally 1st. I was about to be called for October then her split cycle failed, the second recipient asked to do a single cycle, that failed and then she left the program. Another never moved (yet seemingly did three cycles, all failed), and another was removed for poor response. My reserve donor--the one I added because I thought she looked solid if not fitting most of my needs--and had a short wait list was also removed from the program. I had avoided several I really liked because they had double-digit lists and there were others who interested me who had 7 or 8 on their lists that I skipped--and all of them ended up being removed or leaving.

I started with high ideals and scrapped most of them but I feel it is important to match ethnicity and have some minor physical characteristics (like height and weight--I'm tall and slim) and blood type. All the best donors seem to have A or AB blood type so that is a problem as we don't have either and I don't want to have a mismatch there.
You do not have to match bloodtype for DE unless you want to. Right now I see donor 46342 I am not able to see her proflie only picture and basics. She has natural brown hair her dyed red hais is listed and distracting, but looking closely at her features she is attractive. I would consider her myself. My donor was shorter than me but had a tall father and my husband is tall.
