Thank you Ladies: To do what you guys are suggesting I will need to drive a couple hours away to my local RE instead of my OB/GYN. i am going to call the office tomorrow and if I do not get some good answers. I will go to my RE on Saturday. The nurse told me to start estrace today. The inconsistencies are enought to drive you crazy. i have 2 different scripts for Progesterone in my portal one for 200mg BID and the other 200mg TID. Big difference. I am going to use Prometrium this time due to the cost of Crinone.
MSZ: I will be praying that everything is ok with your donor.
Furrvis: WOW 15 weeks, that is so AWESOME!!!

Good luck for your consultation, Sparrow. I have only spoken briefly to Dr. K but he is a wonderful, kind and enormously charismatic man. Let us know how it goes.
Good luck, Bighopes--I hope you don't need the baseline but keep calling CNY until you at least get a good answer. I'm so hoping this works for you--you so deserve to be a mother.
MSZ--praying you get great news from Pati very soon.

Had my phone consultation with Dr. Kiltz. Quite an experience. He'd go off on tangents about positive thinking and recommended at least 4 different books for me to read on the subject. Seems to be a real important issue with him. I'm not buying into all of it, but I agree my outlook during this journey hasn't been the best. Repeated failures, disappointment, and loss can do that to a person. Even before talking to him I had already decided to work on lowering my stress and anxiety. A couple of weeks ago I started to listen to some fertility meditation and I think that it is helping. He agreed to prescribe me Folgard and my protocol would include using Lovenox and intralipids. I asked if the intralipids were expensive and he said no. I know some of you have used these meds. About how much did they cost? I'd just like to know what to expect.
Overall it went well. I feel he listened to all my concerns and was helpful. I definitely feel better now moving forward.

Hi Ladies!
Sparrow - Yes, Dr. Kiltz loves his positive thinking! Intralipids aren't expensive around $40 from Freedom Pharmacy BUT it's $150 to administer them.
Bighopes - The 1st thing I noticed when doing my 1st FET was how inconsistent my protocol and meds were, how the nurses all said different things. Make sure you stay on top of them.
AFM - Not much going on. Still no word so I am going to take that as sign that this cycle is a bust. Even if she does contact them, my guess is that I will have to wait another month to cycle and there goes my shot at being pg before my birthday. So really how does positive thinking work? B/c I was positive this was it with this donor and I would pg before my b'day (hey I was positive I would be pg before my due date) and none of it is going to pan out. Once again how does this positive thinking work?44 Single High FSH DOR

MSZ: I have no words of wisdom for you. This absolurly sucks!!!! I was so hoping this would be the one for you.
Sparrow: Yeah, the word of that Dr.K is all butterflies and sunshine. I agree yuo need to keep the stress down, but you can take it a little far. Which you the best. The Lovenox is expensive, I hope you have some coverage for medication.
AFM: I did get some clear answers today and I am actually okay with not having a baseline. They do it more than we may think and I am going to go with it. I will go Friday 6/29 for lining check.

MsZ- Don't lose hope. Maybe waiting a month will work out to be for the best. It would be more upsetting if you had to start all over again and match up with a new donor.
BigHopes-I do have some coverage, but it is not the best. Where do you ladies order your meds from? Is one place cheaper from another? I see MsZ that you've used Freedom Pharmacy.

Sparrow - Who knows I might have to start all over if this girl bails! So the jury is still out on that one! Freedom Pharmacy is one of the biggest Fertility Pharmacies. They have good prices and deliver everything to where you need it. They check what's covered and what's not and call you to let you know before they complete and order. I have also used Mandell's Pharmacy but that's right here in NJ.

MsZ- Oh noooo. I hope she doesn't bail on you. What is Pati saying about her? Has the donor been in contact with her at all?

Sparrow - CNY deals w/ Freedom Pharmacy a lot, but in my case, my insurance would not cover Rx's through them, so I now go through Apothecary be Design (in Maine) and they are phenomenal!! Freedom will call you if they do not deal with your insurance though so you'll know.
BigHopes - thanks - lining check was great 9mm or so, and my E2 jumped up to 1027 or something!!! Everyone seemed really pleased w/ the results, so we're on deck to go to FET Thurs 6/28. FX that this is the one for us! How are you doing? Is your FET scheduled yet? Sorry - I'm way behind and haven't had time to go back and read older posts.........
Msz - I really hope you hear something good from Pati soon. Just when we think all is going to plan, hiccups happen. FX for you!
AFM - just one addition that I think you ladies getting ready to cycle should be aware of. This weekend I practically had a panic attack when I realized that all my previous cycles (fresh and the one FET), I started p4 5 days prior to ET. Yesterday, I realized the nurse had set the protocol up to start p4 4 days before. I called CNY (Sunday) and decided while it probably wasn't urgent to them, it was to me, and if a human answered the urgent line, I'd talk to them. Justine answered (Latham) thank God - someone I knew was really good. I asked the question and she first told me how "good" I was - I was worried she'd tell me I caught an error. I was relieved when she said I was the first patient to catch their protocol change for p4 going from 5 days before ET to 4 days, which better mimics the body's normal behavior. PHEW!!! She also said "if it's something stressful enough to keep you up at night, always call us", so I felt soooo much better. Perhaps many women aren't as type A as me and wouldn't have stressed, but I get paid as an engineer to pay close attention to detail!
Have a great day all.........
