Estrogen questions

Hi everybody. I am doing my first donor egg cycle this month. My Dr just started me on estrogen patches. 1 the first 72 hrs 2 the next then up to 4 patches!!

How crazy is this going to make me?? Is this hazerdous to my health? Can I still have some wine up to my transfer date? All my Dr told me was no ibuprofin, only tylenol. Would appreciate any feed back.

Hi,

I was on estrogen patches this last IVF cycle and I didn't notice any negative side effects at all. Did your Dr. maybe warn you there were negative side effects? I'm actually a little freaked out about taking BC pills right now because I've always read they are horrible and put you on the emotional rollercoaster from hell...lol I hope you'll be okay and good luck with your DE cycle!

The bp pill isn't too bad--I did gain a healthy 5 ibs though. I'm on the first 72 hours of patches and so far so good.
