Smile Donor Sperm with Midwest

Hi. Im new to this forum.... Im also new to the whole thought of Donor sperm as well.... My DH and I have been trying to concieve for over 2 years. About 6 months ago he went in for a SA and came back ZERO sperm. We got referred to a RE and his SA has only 27,000 sperm with 15% motility..(Not very promising).. It took us a while to digest it and consider our options. And recently we have decided to do IUI with donor sperm. We start our first one in December..

Our sperm bank we are going through is Midwest sperm bank in Chicago. Has anyone out their used them? We have a few options we are thinking about. I am leaning toward #232 (I heard lots of success) and also #325 (but is new with no reported pregnancies)...

I would appreciate and feedback and im glad i found this site. Its hard because my family and friends dont understand what im going through with this emotional roller coaster..

Hi Lindsey, I am new to this forum as well (in fact this is my first post). My husband and I recently decided to persue IUI with donor sperm. We have meetings with two doctors in the week after next. I do not know much about the process yet but thought I would reply and hopefully we can share stories.

Hi Lindsey - I've been using MSB for a little while now, we are about to start our 4th attempt, fx it will be our last!. The lady that runs the place can be a little odd and definately seems to prefer phone over email but if you talk to her at the end of the day or when it's slow she's actually very chatty and can provide all kinds of information. Just write down any questions you think of and she'd be happy to give you any advice she has.
I haven't used him but I've heard about all sorts of success with #232. There's another board on the ********** community site dedicated to MSB clients, several of the women over there are trying or have been successful with him.
Good Luck!
