ymee - BIG HUGS! So sorry about the chemical. So glad that you have frosties. Do what you need to do to heal We're here for you.

Tootsie - Can't believe your cycle was cancelled. After all the waiting and anticipation, I know this is hard. Hope you can regroup quickly and move forward soon.

katiebell - Fingers crossed that you get a happy surprise on your beta day. I did when I got pg w/ DD. Wishing the same for you.

bisb - sorry about the rough transfer. Your embies are in the best place for them now. Stay positive. You are in my prayers.

Gab - you are definitely not boring us with your updates or your betas. We care about you. Post as often as you can/like! Please let us know how your u/s goes.

To everyone I missed. hope you're doing well.

AFM - nothing new to report here. I have 1 more week until my first u/s. There is so much waiting in this process, you'd think I'd get used to it, but I never do.

Smiling - Thanks for updated chart. I will know more tomorrow when I talk to the nurse. She is really sweet. I was okay Sat/Sun but today I am upset and cranky.I keep telling myself that it will happen just not this month.

Wow your beta is high, thinking you might have two in there. How wonderful would that be. How old is your DD?

Hi to everyone. Hope you all have a great week ahead.

Karen

Smiling: Saturday's beta was 1449. Have another one soon and u/s Weds. Last week's u/s showed something in the uterus but this week's should be more definitive.
Best wishes,
Gab

hey everyone! hope all is well!
September is finally here and my sister and i have started our cycle (yay)! Had our first 'day 0' ultrasound and there were 2 little follicles already started...it wasn't what they wanted to see but they said to increase her synarel (nasal spray) and it would be fine! hopefully this means she has some pretty strong eggs in there lol. our next ultrasound is thursday... hoping for a good number!

Tootsie - sorry again about your cycle being cancelled. Your attitude seems amazingly good! How do you do it? I can totally relate to wanting to get back to the way life was before all of this though. Hard to even remember...

Gab - So glad the beta's still rising! Will be thinking of you tomorrow. You're almost there...

Title1 - Man, can I relate to analyzing every twitch or yawn, and I'm only 2 dpt! I think the doc's beta at 12 dpt is pretty accurate. HCG is more detectable in blood than urine, and also, it's really 15-17 dp ovulation. I hear you though. If you're concerned, you could always wait to stop the prog. and ask for another beta. Hopefully you won't need to!!!

SmilingIrishIs - WOW! Super high beta! Seems like really good news there. Yay!

Molly - Good luck to you and your sister. So nice that she can help you out - very sweet.

Tootsie, Hope, Title1 & SmilingIrishIs - THANKS for all the support and sticky vibes!!! It totally helped me not feel alone and helped nudge me out of my grumpiness.

AFM: I've finally managed to shake the stress from my transfer and embrace the possiblity of one of the three embryos working. The progesterone symptoms have set in, so, of course, I'm convinced I'm pregnant -- even tho I've been through this many times before. Either way, I'm feeling better. Beta on 9/17 (one day after I turn 40). Until then, I'll try to hold off the inevitable internet searches for prog. vs. preg. symptoms. Somehow, I think that each new time I search, there will be different information. Patience, breathing, and distraction...

Everyone!

Ymee - Oh I'm soooo sorry for what has happened. I'm sure your surrogate was disappointed also. <HUGS> I know it's hard, even if you have frozens. It's very hard to wait to try again. And I know that sometimes you feel like the only one when there are so many successes. My friends who went to India just found out their surrogate is not preg. I think they have a few frozen as well. I'm thinking of you and sending up prayers. HUGS HUGS HUGS

katie - Sorry for the POAS results. <BIG HUGS> from someone who's been there. Not trying to give you false hope, however, we here on the board never give up completely until beta. I know you're feeling empty and probably guilty as well (NOT your fault!) you did everything right. Hang in there ok??? HUGS HUGS HUGS

Smiling - CONGRATS mama!! So glad you had a successful cycle. Can't wait to hear all about your u/s!

Gab - Glad baby continues to grow!! Looking good, mama!! When is next u/s??

AFM - We got back from Mexico. Overall, a very decent and adventerous trip. The doctor worked directly under Dr. Beers as a student and told me so nice stories about him. He speaks broken english so a bit hard to understand him and his staff knew basically no English, so the language barrier was intimidating, but we managed.

He told me the LIT would help with my elevated NKa activity and cytokines. So I will be saving money on other treatments for those things. They took my DH blood and seperate out just the white blood cells. Then he injected it into the underside of my forarms. 4 on each arm. I had a reaction after the fourth shot. I got very dizzy and queezy and nearly fainted. It scared the hell out of me and dh. They rushed me to a recliner and raised my feet above my head. Thankfully it passed.

On the way home we had an emergency landing in Denver. A woman sitting next me collasped and had to be rushed to hospital. I heard she was ok. I think she was terrified of flying and wanted off the plane.

Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday to remove my tube. Nervous, but anxious to get it over with.

Hi Rhonda!

I'm glad you are back and made it through the treatment OK. What did they attribute the reaction on the forth injection to? GL next week with surgery. When are you planning your FET?

Hope

Hi Hopeful! How are you darlin? I see your FET is early Nov. have you gotten a protocol? I've never done an FET so I have no idea how similar/different the protocols are. Is the cycle timing/length about the same? My FET is kind of unknown at this point. When they do the surg they will also examin my uterus for any endo or other issues. If something like that is discovered and treated, I think they may make me wait a bit longer. In 2006 all was good in there so hoping it's just the tube and we can move along to FET cycle starting in Oct.

As far as the reaction to LIT, I spoke to alot of women who have done it and none metioned fainting. It must be fairly rare since I was sitting in the doctor's office in a chair in front of his desk with my forearms stretched out on his desk. You would think if it was common, they would have you on the bed, right? It was hard to understand him as to why. He could really only say it happens sometimes. Of course, my dh says he dropped me to my knees because of the love in his blood. lol
