Overview of egg donation process in Russia
It’s not too late to have a child
If you are unhappily childless, the menopause need not stop you from having a baby. Egg donation can still allow you to experience the joy of becoming a mother, together with the extraordinary sensation of pregnancy and the excitement of the birth of your child. The AVA clinic in St. Petersburg, Russia, is one of the world’s leading specialists in egg donation. Many of our patients have gone through multiple disappointments before coming to us. Some have suffered a premature menopause, while others have had many failed attempts at IVF. But even after your own eggs can no longer be used, it is still possible for you to sustain a healthy pregnancy. In fact, we accept egg donation recipients up to the age of 50. Egg (ovum) donation is a process whereby a young, fertile donor goes through IVF on your behalf. Her eggs are fertilised in the laboratory with the sperm of your husband or partner (or a sperm donor) to create embryos. The best embryos are selected and one or two are replaced in your womb to make you pregnant. Your pregnancy is supported by a course of medication for the first few months, after which your body takes over fully. Fertile donors Our egg donors are healthy, well-educated, good-looking young women aged under 30 with at least one child. Their youth, good health and proven fertility enable us to achieve very high success rates. They undergo a complete medical evaluation by a GP, gynaecologist and psychiatrist, and are screened for HIV, Hepatitis B and C every 3 months. High success rates We had a 60% success rate in 2006-2008. This was our clinical pregnancy rate after transferring 2 fresh embryos on day 5 (blastocyst stage). We transfer 1 or 2 embryos, and will freeze any good-quality ones left over. Why come to us? In Russia, donor anonymity is guaranteed. We have no shortage of donors, and there is no waiting list. In addition, you get all the eggs produced by your own personal donor (there is no “egg sharing”). Our matching process is very personal, and you can choose a donor with physical characteristics (such as hair and eye colour) similar to your own. Our clinic Conveniently situated in the centre of St. Petersburg, our clinic is surrounded by hotels, shops, restaurants and cultural sights to make your stay a pleasant one. We are fully accredited, our prices are competitive, and medication is provided by our on-site pharmacy. Like to know more? Ask your question here in the forum now or contact us today to arrange a talk with one of our sympathetic and experienced doctors. An English-speaking receptionist is available to take your call each weekday from 6am till 2pm (UK time). Why wait any longer?
