Darn Clomid.

Hi everyone ...

I have posted before, I am supposed to be starting a cycle as a donor any day now, and I was asked to do a Clomid challenge in the beginning of June. Did everything I was supposed to, days 5-10 and then went for testing. Then got more testing on day 22. Now my period should have come on June 29th, though my clinic said they were expecting it by at least July 1st. I know yesterday was the first, but I can't believe I still haven't gotten it!

My stims came in the mail yesterday morning, and I thought that on the 3rd I would be starting them. This is driving me crazy! Even though there is practically no chance at all of pregnancy (bf and I only did that 2x this month and with protection as recommended) I took a pregnancy test anyway - negative. I called the clinic to tell them I am still here waiting... and they said they aren't worried. Great, but I am! I want to get started and done already!! Just to do this has been over 1 1/2 years in the making.

I've been reading online about people's periods getting pushed back after using Clomid. I have been on BC for 7 years (until now of course) but was always regular before that anyway. What's up with this? Anyone else go through this with Clomid?

Clomid gave me cysts and my period was very delayed. They had to give me progesterone to induce a period, but I'm not sure they want to do that with you, because they really want cysts to be resolved before you can stim.

Thanks - I finally got it Friday, so it wasn't that long of a wait. Went in today for my appointment, and I am cleared to get started tonight! The nurse showed my boyfriend the injections, so tonight I will be shooting up for the first time, haha. This week I will be getting all ready for my trip.
