again??? Level 4
where to start? (child ment)

Long story short, I have one son, conceived naturally after 2 years of trying. He is 7 years old. Did IF TX for 3 years to TTC #2, ending 2 years ago with a diagnosis of high FSH/POF. I am 38 years old. I have not had a period in almost 2 years and am considered to be in menopause. I thought I could give up at this point, but the desire is back more than ever. I feel like I did not have enough information when I went through TX the first time and it seriously hurt my chances of success.

So...to start with

Do you think donor egg is an option for me?

How would you find/pick an RE to work with? I am in the VA area.

Anything else you think I should know before I start?

Thanks for any help!
Katie

I definately think donor egg is an option for you. I am 33 and I have high FSH and POF. I am going to be starting my first DE cycle the end of July. I am in the Northern VA area too. I would check out Shady Grove Fertility, their main office is in MD, but you can do your monitoring at a VA office.

I concur with Katie! SG's donor egg program has excellent results and they have a 6 donor cycle program with a 100% money back guarantee if you don't have a live birth. They also have offices in VA.

Best of luck to you!
