July Transfers

Hello Ladies .

I'm hoping to garner some 2ww support/friendship ................ I'm not new to FT (despite my post count) I just opened a new account, because I started feeling a little paranoid about my real life ppl lurking here ............... anyhoo ...... I haven't been posting in a long while anyhoo ... I have done IVF 7 times, and had one success with a later term loss .................. I am now into my first donor cycle . and am really hopeful! My donor had 29 eggs retrieved!! 25 of which were mature, 16 fertilized normally, and then the next morning 7 more were seemingly matured and ready for injecction . so they were fertilized yesterday . I've yet tot recieve any information on them . but really they are just gravy anyhoo . as they will not be available for transfer .... I feel so fortunate and blessed to have had such success, thus far.

I have an appt with my Dr tomorrow afternoon, for a consult, and possible transfer, although I prefer a 5 dt (personal preference) hopefully the embies are strong, and want t make it to blast stage. That being the case my transfer will be Wednesday, and I have a hotel on the beach to recouperate in!! I can't wait for *that* part!!!

Anybody with me? Also, I'm interested in chatting about how you all feel about your donors . I feel so connected to mine, yet I've had no contact . i plan on writing her a letter durrng my 2ww and buying a gift, although I don't know just what yet . I'd love suggestions, experiences, or ideas on that.

Oops, I just posted in the June thread! Can I join as a donor? My first donation cycle is in July. I have two children already and want 20-30 more (hehe), but hubby says no. Egg donation is my way of living vicariously through my recipient. I am very excited, and I am rooting for my anonymous recipient with my whole heart. I feel very connected to her already. Something made her choose *me* when she was looking at bundles and bundles of pictures and profiles. I am her only chance of getting pregnant this summer, and I hope that I can come through for her.

Hi JJ - I transfer Wednesday 7-1! You and I will be waiting together!

I'm not sure how I feel about my donor - she's adorable - 22 and already has two of her own children. Oh to be young again! HA!

I know I am grateful for her choice because coloring wise - we are very similar. Same hair, eyes and skin color - it's great. It should be a good match with my husbands genes!

All I know is that I am grateful for her decision to donate.

Good luck w/ your transfer girls! I transferred 6/28 and in the 2ww, I was scared to do a 3dt but my donor had 16 eggs, out of that 3 were immature, 1 egg was degenerative, 2 fertilized abnormally, 5 fert. ok and 3 they couldn't tell so they cultured like they did fertilized. On Sunday those last 3 were cleaving and I had a 5 cell and not sure of the rest but will find out tomorrow. I pray I have at least 1 blast to freeze but I don't think it is looking too good.

Ok - so now the wait begins! We transferred two - that was good - they were good quality "A" eggs!

They were in the compact stage so hopefully we'll have success!

How are you feeling Carolsue?

Hello my fellow Ladies in waiting ..

I'm with you here ..... transferred two blasts ..... on Wednesday late afternoon . One "hatching" and one grade 1 ...... so now we wait .... I have no idea how many were frozen, but I do know I had a good chance of having 5 or 6 frozen ............. I only *hope* I won't need any of them! I feel extremely fortunate for that aspect, i just am afraid of my "funky" uterus being hospitable!

KG .............. hope you're relaxing and hanging in there ,,,,,,,,,,,,, and the same for you Carol Sue!!! I'm at the beach in SoCal, kicking back, flying home Monday .... haven't decided about the POAS dilemma yet . and my Beta is scheduled rather late ......... 7/13 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, trying hard not to worry. It's been such a long road; it's difficult to imagine a "different" outcome . but oh how I *hope . I *hope .. I * hope ................ and I hope for all of you 2ww with me ..................

How much PIO is everyone on? I'm on 2cc plus a suppository, but I forgot my shot last night ......... I think cause it's such a high does I ought be ok?/ opinions?? I took 1cc this AM, and will do 2cc again tonight ................ and also tonight another shot of E2V
