First IUI with DS - Did I waste my time?
Just had an IUI on Thursday using DS. Total male factor. Now I am wondering if I wasted my time.... I did a test run with clomid and I just hated it... so I decided to do it without against the advice of my doctor. Now I just read that my chances are only 6% and would have been higher if I had used clomid.
I'm also not feeling well and having cramping that started the evening after the procedure. Is this normal?

Holly - mild cramping is normal. Clomid only helps if you have an ovulation problem. With IUI, you have same chance as a fertile couple trying on their own - upto 20%, based on age. Good luck!
April Me- mild annovulation, genetic male factor. On dsIUI cycle#6, 1st time trying Clomid@100. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1e80da |

Holly,
I did 4 unmedicated dsiui cycles and got pregnant on my 4th one. Sadly, I miscarried at 7 weeks. I'm getting ready to start trying again, but changing clinics and I will continue to go unmedicated. Don't give up hope! |
