I'm in shock (bfp mentioned)
Just wanted to let everyone know after 4 years of TTC (3 IVF, then onto DS IUI)- finally got our first BFP today after our 4th DS IUI!
I am still in shock and keep going back to look at the hpt test. I only took one today because I was sure this cycle hadn't worked and wanted to get over with it. What a suprise! I can't tell you how nice it is to see those 2 lines. My DH and I are overwhelmed. Ava

Hi Avawaiting,
Congratulations!!!    Pinch yourself because it is real. I had to do the same thing just this week. I got a BFP on Monday and my beta's are steadily rising. Just like you I had written this cycle off before it was really over. I was already thinking of when to schedule my FET. Boy was I wrong. It truly is a wonderful feeling to FINALLY be able to say "I'm going to be a Mom". Bask in the fruits of you and your DH labor and enjoy every minute of your pregnancy (I know I will). That's wonderful news! My DD through DE is now 7 months and I finally felt okay throwing away the three POAS that told us the cycle had worked. Of course, I took a photo of them first.

Thanks for all the congrats!
I went in for my beta today and should have the results this afternoon. Can anyone tell me if some cramping is normal in early pregnancy? They are not like my normal period cramps- they are less intense and I seem to have them in the evening for the last several days. |

Avawaiting-
I just got my bfp also, and I had the cramping also. They were different from AF cramps. I usually got mines in the evenings before bed. They evenually eased up just after first beta. Now I am struck with morning sickness and sore boobs Oh well, the saga continues I guess. Its totally worth it though. Good luck on your beta. Be sure to give us your beta numbers. EP |

Those are great numbers Avawaiting!!!! Congratulations! I actually went to have my first u/s yesterday and discovered that we are having twins. I had that feeling since beta numbers were kind of high.
1st beta-502 2nd beta-1262 3rd beta-2392 I am still pinching myself, and like you this all seems so surreal. Its strange to me that soon I'll be able to actually walk down the baby aisle at the store that I usually try to avoid. I'm sure, just like me, you have waited so long for this to finally happend, so lets enjoy every step of the way. Best of Luck, EP |
