Donor Sperm IUI success stories please?!?

OK, so I know that frozen sperm takes more cycles to get a BFP than fresh sperm. But would any of you that had BFP from frozen donor sperm please share your stories with me? I feel a little out of the loop sometimes from the regular IUI crowd, especially knowing that their success rates are greater than mine. I'd just like to hear some good news from others in my situation I guess.....

I need a little something to grasp onto -- PLEASE!

FYI - this is my fourth dIUI cycle, it's getting old.

Ours worked with a poor frozen sperm sample the first time I know the dr got the dates right (I think I o'd early the cycle before even though the dr says it was still ok), so I know it is possible. I desperately don't want to go back to IVF so I'm hoping it works again this time around.

Did you carry to term? Glad to hear it worked even with a poor sample. Our first couple of samples weren't so fab, but the last couple have been really good.

I got pregnant very easily with donor sperm despite being mid30's and having mild PCOS myself. Our protocal was clomid, midcycle ultrasound and ONE IUI 35 hours later.. I got pregnant on my first, third, fifth and seventh tries(m/c first two due to pcos or progesterone issue, not sure.. but d and c showed normal babies) Used Fairfax cryobank..... good luck and keep on trying, dont' give up on your dream.

Hey Maggie! Hang in there. As you know I use ds and have a dd from it. We got preg on the second IUI the first time around and we will see as you know we are working on ttc #2. Our dd was carried to term and is completely healthy and is the love of our lives. I know how hard this can all be but try and hang in there, I'm sure it is only a matter of time. Also it sounds like you have a great cycle underway so this could be it!

Good News

I want to let you know that I have used donor sperm in the past. I have two beautiful children from ds. The first time we tried it took 3 tries and the 2 time it took 10 tries. I was on clomid with my first and letrozole with my 2nd. Don't give up hope. It will happen. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hi Maggie,

I wanted to chime in to say I have two beautiful dd's from frozen donor sperm: our first attempt in diui resulted in our first daughter who is now almost 2 yrs old. We later got pg on our second diui and dd is 6 weeks old. Both were healthy and were unmedicated cycles; our issue is severe male factor IF. We too used Fairfax.
The very best of luck to you, definitely dont give up And good luck with this cycle! I hope this brings you a bfp!

I just wanted to thank you all so much for your uplifting stories. I really need them this cycle. And you all seemed to have succeeded fairly quickly, so that is very reassuring. I will probably trigger tomorrow afternoon, if not, then definitely Friday, and I hope that #4 is the lucky one for me!

Again, thank you SO MUCH for making my day a little better. Sometimes I feel like it will never happen, and y'all are proof that it does work.

Pray for me!
Maggie

I was not able to get pg until my 5th DIUI. Sometimes it takes a bit longer so please don't get discourged if this cycle doesn't work. (I know- easier said than done!) But now I have a beautiful DD!
