Anyone Used California Cryobrank, Inc.?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this message board. In a nutshell, I'm 31 and my DH is 29. So far, the RE has put me though several tests (HSG, Saline Ultrasound, Endometrial Biopsy, blood work, etc.) and everything has checked out fine, but we have sever male factor IF and are hoping to start DSIUI in May. I'm fortunate to have such a loving DH and he's the one that recommended using DSIUI.

We're in the process of selecting a donor bank and we're wondering if anyone has used the California Cyrobank, Inc. My RE and the andrologist at the clinic say that they have had really good success with them but I wanted to hear it from someone else.

Thanks for taking time to read the post.

They are very popular. We went with Fairfax as they offered the highest guaranteed counts. Good luck.

We thought about registering with them but went with xytex instead. I have heard good things about them though.

My DP and I are using California Cryobank. Our clinic also recommended them, and a few others- given the fact that they comply with all the many rules and regulations, and are supposed to be super conscientious about all that.
I'm in 2ww with DS from that sperm bank, but this is the first time using that donor, so not sure about success yet...but others have had success with this donor, and they track that info.
Good luck!

They were my 2nd choice of cryobank. We ended up goping with Fairfax because you can see a short medical profile of the donor and donor's immediate family for free on the Fairfax site, which saved us a lot of money. (We were trying to avoid anyone with pet allergies.)

We were successful with CA Cryobank. We really liked them. Very good customer service and we did very well with their photo matching service. My IVF was successful in Sept 2003. (so it was a few yrs ago). Good luck!

I used CA cryobank and was successfull on my 5th IUI and I have 3 months old twin babies from DIUI now.

Best of luck to you. I was very pleased with their customer service and the information I was able to get on the donor I picked. I even get to hear his voice (not that matters but it was kind of nice to get an understanding of his personality a little bit)

Anyway, I wish you all tons of baby dust and postive vibes!

Thanks for the information and the well wishes. It's good to know that someone else used them and had success with them.
