Anyone cycling in the next few weeks?
Hi girls,
I was hoping to find some cycle buddies for the end of April/beginning of May. My donor started her stims on Friday and we anticipate ER to be between April 26 - 28. This is my first IVF cycle so I am quite nervous. (Although, I am sure it doesn't get easier if you have done it more than once.) Anyways, is anyone out there cycling around the same time frame???? bhk

thebrg ~ Hi! Congratulations on getting started on your cycle! It sounds like we are almost on the same schedule. Are you getting nervous yet? I have to admit I am incredibly nervous right now because I have no idea what to expect.
Do you have to go into your RE's office on Tuesday or can you just start the meds on your own? |

Hi! I have to go to my REs tomorrow for BW and US and then I guess I could start stims tomorrow night or on tuesday. I am very nervous...I can't imagine another BFN so hopefully this is the key to success.
Where are you in your cycle? |

My donor started her stims on Friday. She has cycled 2 times before and they said she usually is ready for ER on day 10. Assuming Friday was day #1 I guess the ER may be next Sunday. (Of course I am not positive about how the days are counted)
I know what you mean about a BFN. In fact, I don't even want to think about getting the results. I am just concentrating on the "next big event". (i.e. donor starting stims, my u/s, ER, etc...) I don't even really know how the donor's cycle plays out. I am hoping that I have some information on Wednesday morning when I am scheduled for my u/s. Let me know how all of your tests play out tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you.

Bhk- I normally have 10 days of stims, then trigger and then ER is the second day after the trigger. So if your donor is ready for ER on the 10th day she should trigger on friday...that is so soon! I just recounted and it looks like my ER will be on May 3rd if I do my normal 10 days of stims, but my RE is changing my protocol this time so I guess it could be sooner....we will see...
Tbar - your IUI is going to be here before you know it! Is this your 1st one? We never qualified for IUIs so I am not exactly sure the timing on all of that. What cycle day do you normally go in for it? |

May 3rd is a good day...that's my birthday!!! No this is my 4th IUI. My DH had a failed reversal, so we are using donor sperm. Typically it seems like I go in cd 14 or 15. It will be close to my birthday if not on my birthday. I'm very excited and just hope this one is a positive for us!!! What a birthday present that would be! I just DREAD the 2ww. |

Hey what is everyone's first names????
Anyhow....the show has started! I just did my first stim shot...WOO HOO! Tbar-DH had a failed reversal too. Well his actually was successful, but with time we think it is closing back up. His sperm now though are always covered in antibodies so they normally shake instead of swim. They got shakers for IVF #1 and #2, but #3 he had to do TESE because none of them moved at all...not even a single sperm. Did you ever think of trying IVF with TESE with DH? |

Tbar ~ it won't be long now! Hopefully it will work this time and you will have an incredible birthday present!!
thebrg~ WONDERFUL NEWS!!!! It won't be long now!!! Well, you just taught me something new. I was assuming that they would do ER immediately after the 10 days of stims. I didn't realize that the trigger shot happened and then there was a wait. Ok ~ so I am clueless.... Maybe my coordinator can help me with the timeline a little more. She hasn't been very helpful with this up to this point.
