I went to RMA of NJ and I hope you have better luck then I did. That place had me crying all the time because it's such a big office and it feels like they don't have the time for you. I'm so glad we found another place. They never checked our insurance to find out if IVF with donor eggs would be covered and just said most insurances don't cover IVF. They also told me when I started my period to call them right away so they could send me for blood work well I called and I got put into a voice mail and I left a message and that day went by and no call and I called the next day and finally got a hold of the lady I was suppose to talk to and she was out the day before and she told me it was too late for the blood work. They told me once we put out the money that they would start to look for a donor for us and it would be almost a year and I was so upset to hear that because I wanted a baby so bad because I already wasted so much time. We ended up looking for another place in the meantime because I just had a bad feeling about the place and then we found The Woman's Institute in Philadelphia, PA and went to them and they where great. They told us the could find a match for us with in three months after we put out some money and with in a couple of weeks they called me and said they had a match and I was shocked. Also The Woman's Institute called our insurance company and they found out that there was a written clause in our insurance that said IVF was covered under our insurance which was wonderful because we ended up paying about $8,000.00 instead of $24,000. In the end of all of this we ended up with our darling daughter who is now 2 1/2 years old now. I wish you all the luck!!

Countrychicpa- I am sorry to hear , that you have so many bad memories with RMA. I guess/hope it changed there....I have the same experience calling our nurse, that I always have to leave a messages at her voice mail, but so far she always calls me back before the end of the business day.
When we've met with the financial adviser in the beginning of this year, she clearly explained what to expect from the insurance to be paid (ivf cycle) and how much to prepare out of our own pocket ( donor's fee, donor's medications), so it looks similar as you experienced in Philadelphia , I guess. You are absolutely right, that it is a big office, but I like their success rates and staff is pretty nice. Besides that I just want them to help us to have a baby, not make friends , so I think it's OK that they are not extra sweet. That's great to hear that you succeeded and now you have your little daughter.Congratulations!!! I would really want to read more about any experiences with RMA NJ Good luck to everyone!!
