I have not, but I suppose its not completely out of the question-I would at least use DHs sperm for some of the eggs and I would go to a reputable clinic.
SeattleSuz has done this and I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head, but I know others on FT have done this.

Hi Wanting,

I haven't been on these boards for well over a year now maybe longer and I just saw your post.

I wanted to tell you that we did IVF with Ds and were very fortunate to conceive and have a beautiful son who now turns 1 in two weeks.

It only took us one full cycle as the first try got cancelled due to not enough meds. However watching him take his first steps now I would not change anything and I 100% endorse going this route but only if it is right for you and s.o if you have one.

To us having a baby was more important to my dh and as he so eloquently put it one day "I need to be a father to a child more than I need to father a child".

We are thinking we might go back again about Oct next year as we have 4 frozen embies.

If you want to chat please feel free to PM me, but I am certainly no authority on the matter. And for the record I was a very "fluffy"girl as they say.

Vicky

Oh my gosh - yes we did that!!

The cycles are just like a regular IVF cycle except you have to make sure that DS is already at the clinic. As with any IF issues you have to be at peace with the clinic you choose and most clinics will first try IUI's and then go to IVF unless your test show things that are not going to responsive to IUIs.

We are happy to report that we have one great healthy guy due to IVF and DS.
