Let me just add, I'm 44 now, so that's the reason for doing them so close together. Although, my RE told me that my age didn't matter. He encouraged me to spend as much time nursing and enjoying my son as I wanted. But I put the pressure on myself to do another cycle quickly because of my age.

Yes I was told that as well that age doesn't matter. I totally understand that you wanted to go ahead sooner than later.

Age doesn't matter... you get the pregnancy of the 20 year old ED... or however young she is!

I'm looking into doing a shared egg donor program.
I would be the donor. My paperwork states the recipient pays as though she is doing her own IVF cycle plus has to pay for a portion of mine. I believe the fee for the recipient is $8500 (plus her own IVF). I think my cost will be approx $5000. The recipient gets half my eggs and if I produce less than 5, she gets them all and pays for me to go thru another cycle.
