Failed Mock Cycle
Hi, I'm new here and so glad to have found a site in which you all talk of more details issues especially related to donor cycles! I have had most every test, 3 iui's and 3 ivf cycles (last one took but m/c between week 7-8). With my age now 42, the dr. suggested ivf w/de, it took me a few months to get used to the idea and now trying to proceed. I thought I would get the "mock cycle" out of the way while searching for a donor. Much to my surprise the cycle went nothing as planned. My lining is not thick enough - first increase up to six patches, then added oral estrogen, switched to vaginal use - still nothing. Next cycle went to estrogen shots (every 3rd day) kept increasing dosage until I was at amount of 1ml. Still my lining only got to 5?????
Dr. can't explain why I didn't respond, thinks I should now have a Hysteroscopy procedure in case there is any scar tissue they can't see. I'm feeling very discouraged , has anyone had this issue???? Thanks
