I may be joining you ladies-I'm nearing the end of my 2ww and feeling like AF is knocking and will be here any minute now.

Kat-Hi honeeeeeeey. I miss all my previous cycle buddies (well....some anyway). I can't be more thrilled for you that what began as a letter to some cousins is turning into a dream come true for you. You may see more of me on this board, we'll just have to see. I just wanted to jump in here and say "yaaaah for you!". I know it was a looong road to get here and glad you made it thru.
Happy cycling to you too Wendy and KW!

KW! I got my AF today, too! How cool is that?

bebe- It's so great to hear from you!!!!!!!! Sorry I've been AWOL from this thread -- doing school work and posting on the 40+ thread! So has AF shown up or have you had a + beta? What has been going on with you? I gather you're at the end of a cycle? How are you? Let us know if you will be cycling in November!

Hey Wendy! So by now your donor is all set! How are you doing?!

One week till my appts in Florida. If all goes well, my cousin will be stimming in 3 weeks!!!

Best,
Kat

Hi Kat-I will get one more Oct cycle in-the witch showed yesterday-I was 16dpo, so of course I began to consider that I may actually be preggo-yeah right! I'm at work right now and feel like I'm going to burst into tears when i ponder all the sh!t I've been thru over the past 2 yrs. I guess I'm lucky its not been longer-have a therapy session tonight, so maybe that will help.

If this one fails (why would I think anything but that?), I'll be with you gals in November-probably starting about mid Nov, so we'll see.

Good luck w/ everything ladies-I'm hoping this is YOUR cycle!!!

Hey Gang,

Oh Bebe...I'm sooo sorry. I can't tell you how many times I've planned telling friends and family "the good news" only to be let down. I've only been at this for 3 years - I hope DE works.

I have a new calendar ready to go. it looks like my transfer will be the first week in Dec if this donor works out.

Hey bebe - I'm sorry your last cycle didn't work out. Cycling is such an emotional rollercoaster; I've been at it 2 years as well, so believe me I understand the toll it takes. Friendships, my relationship with my fiance, and professional life have all been affected... I hope your therapy session was good. Hang in there, b/c with DE your chances are greater! Please keep us posted on your progress; part of your cycle will happen in Nov. anyway!

Hi KW -- I hope your donor works out so you can have that early Dec. transfer!

Hi Wendy -- What's new with you? How are you doing?

Well, I'm on BCPs now, sp yet another milestone has been passed. My cousin had her 1st appt with the RE and all is well. WHEW! The day after tomorrow we leave for Florida to finish up our preliminary exams, etc. All my cousin has to do now is see the psych counselor for clearance. With a little luck she'll be stimming in less than 3 weeks!

Best,
Kat

Thanks for the support and encouragement-I am actually just using DS, so I'm doing IUIs now instead of IVF w/ my DHs sperm-figured it was the next logical step, but the what ifs are still lingering out there. My therapy session was good (bawled my head off). I've considered being an egg donor for my sis, but we don't even know for sure that MY eggs are okay (she's 42yo).

I know you all understnad the heartache and the slipping away of dreams you thought might just be unfolding..it is awful.

Hey everyone!

I am happy to say that we are set for egg retrieval either Sun, Oct 28 or Mon, Oct 29 with transfer Thurs, Nov 1 or Fri, Nov 2.

I have been taking it so easy and not stressing about my sister taking meds, going to appointments, etc...In fact, I almost have to keep reminding myself that we are doing a cycle...I have really put it out of my mind.

Last night, my sister called me in a panic..."I think I am ovulating! What do I do?" I started laughing because she was all stressed about ovulating before egg retrieval...she is on Ganirelix Acetate and can't ovulate (I HOPE!!!)

We just laughed and laughed. I was not stressed and she totally was, LOL! I told her that if she called the nurse, all the nurse would say is, "Everything is fine...all the cervical mucous is because your estrogen is high. Blah blah blah."

I totally imitated the nurse and then we both laughed and my sister said that it sounds like I have called the nurse in a panic many times before...and I have, LOL!

I totally nailed the nurse imitation because I have called her MANY times in a panic! LOL!!

Well, here we go again! I am excited but scared too.

Talk to you ladies soon!

Notreallyme-this thread is sort of slow these days, so I thought I'd reply b/c I'm always checkin' up on you!!!I'm thrilled for you and so glad you're not stressed out-I really want this to work for you babe. How exciting that you two have made it this far and that's so great you can share this w/ your sis and laugh together-I bet you'll develop a closeness that no one in your family can touch!!! Its so great she has you to stress to and you've been thru so much that you can calm her down based on all of your knowledge (which sometimes we all wish we never had) I'm be thinking of you/your sis for ER this weekend and week-keep us posted on the progress.
