Today is CD9. I will be trying DIUI, no meds and using an ovulation predictor. This is our second attempt. Last month resulted in a negative, that is I got AF before my beta date.
If I don't surge before this Friday I'll go in for an ultrasound on Saturday to check things out. Good luck and keep me updated.

Hey Shopgirl, want to wish you luck too! I'm also on my second DIUI try. Not on any meds either, just OPK (which I hate those things!)
Is this how you conceived DS? How many IUI did you do before you got BFP? Any reassurance I can get that this is going to work soon would be great... Keep us posted! |

We got pregnant on the first try with DS. Of course I'm two years older (38) and this is another donor.
If we don't get pregnant this time we will try clomid with the next cycle. I did do Ovaidril with DS as I never got a positive while doing the ovulation predictor. I went in on DC19 for the trigger and did DIUI the following day. For this past failed cycle I did get a positive on the ovulation predictor and did the DIUI the following day. I'm hoping to trigger with meds this cycle as it gives an exact time that you will ovulate.

Thanks Shopgirl
Good to know. I am thinking of doing a trigger shot on the next try if this one doesn't work. I just don't feel totally comfortable with the amount of timeframe an OPK can give you. I get my + and go in the next day but just seems like it would be easy to miss that small window of opportunity. Hopefully I won't have to worry about it anymore if this one works!
Thanks again and good luck!! |

Hey Dana and others
That wicked whore AF finally made her visit-I had just convinced myself that I had cysts, Asherman's syndrome and even cushing's syndrome before she knocked on the door yesterday evening. I am calling today CD1 and have a baseline scheduled for CD3. I think we're finally going to have DIUI in a few wks., so hopefully I'll be cycling with you all. I will be starting injectables this time w/ a trigger-I no longer trust my body to do its thing. Bebe |
