Not ready to quit yet!
Hi everyone... I now have three canceled IVF cycles under my belt. I have never even made it to ER! These ovaries just don't want to make any babies...SIGH...
Nonetheless...DH and I have decided to go for DE. I can't believe I have actually arrived at this point...although it is exciting, it is very very scary too! We met with RE today and picked four possible donor's. He said now he calls them in and interviews them again...then he will give us the full profiles with pictures of those we can use right now. Said he would like to get us into his November group! So, here goes nothing... Any DE experiences you all can share with me? I would like to know the good and the bad! Thanx for the support in the past, and keep it comin'! I'm gonna need it! xoxo

I'm so happy I used a DE!!! That was the best decision I've ever made. I had 3 failed IVF's with my own eggs when I started looking for DE. The process of finding a donor was so easy for me. I started looking in November '05 and we did the ER in February '06. Unfortunately, the fresh cycle didn't work.
I did a FET in June '06 and got pregnant with twins!!!!! My babies are almost 9 months now and I couldn't be happier!!! Good luck!

We found an awesome egg donor through an agency. We were successful on our first try with donor eggs and couldn't be happier with our kiddos. We maintain an open relationship with our donor - we exchange pictures frequently and get together a couple times a year. She was truly a blessing and our children are truly miracles! Good luck with your DE cycle!

Wendy, I have cycled w/ you previously and I'm still here too-pretty beaten up and bruised, like a mouse that's been brutally torchered by a cat, but laying there, half dead-yeah, that's me, but I am still here and as far as I can tell, my heart is still beating. We have moved onto DIUI. I think you need to find your resolve, what works for you an fgo for it woman. I think its just a rare few women who get this spontaneous pg after an IVF cycle that failed miserably. I think you're taking the right steps and I wish you luck in this miserable IF world.
