I gut gutsy... called our ED.... and spoke to her!!!

I was gonna email and see when was a good time to call but it seemed so wishy washy and she's such a great person that I just decided to "wing it" and call her. If she wasn't home fine. If she was great. Well she was home but busy!!! She was having a wedding shower for a friend but we managed to chat for a while. It was great. I think she is engaged to her boyfriend but no wedding plans as of yet. I was just so thankful to have the chance to talk to her and ask her what's going on in her life. And she mentionned that she has DS picture that I sent her on her bedroom table. Awww....

Well, I will comment. As an adoptive mom with kids that see their birth parents I think it is awesome that you called her, and that you sent her a picture. She had a part in making you a mother, and even though you did all the work carrying him, it is awesome that you don't just take the gift she gave you for granted. Good for you. JAS

I wasn't one of the 33 views.

I wish, in a way, that I could have more contact with our donor. They're such wonderful women that I really think it would be fine. Maybe a little awkward, but fine.

Speaking of which, I need to get going on buying my donor a thank you gift.
