Would love updates on all pregnant recipients!

Just wondering how all of our board's pregnant recipients are doing...sralli, crazylady, maddie, horizon, newlife, carlam, loie, cs1984, kygirl and any others I forgot to mention. It's great for the rest of us to hear your success stories. I, for one, would love to get updates, due dates and just hear how you're doing.

You're so sweet...thanks for checking in on us. I've been lurking but haven't felt comfortable posting. So sorry to hear about your 1st donor, but sounds like everything is on track with the 2nd. It's funny that you said the 2nd donor was your first choice. Same thing happened to DH and I. First donor was denied due to high FSH and when we went back to look the one we originally liked was still available (we didn't pick her originally because she didn't have any kids)...but turns out she was the one!

Everything has been going great! I'm 16 weeks 2 days today and have been feeling great. EDD is 2/3/08 and I go on 9/5 for an u/s where we will be able to find out if it's a boy or girl. I'm very excited to find out.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that this 2nd donor does the trick just like our second donor did for us! - Stefanie

Stefanie,

Great to hear from you. Thanks for the update. I'm so glad everything is going well for you. BTW, your due date is my DD's birthday. She'll be 9!

I'm also hoping things work out with our donor. My RE's office says she's very excited to do this. She's a one-time proven donor, so hopefully all will go well. I start Lupron tonight, so it's really sinking in now.

Please check back and let us know if it's a boy or a girl. Funny story...when I was PG with DD, I couldn't wait to find out the sex. Well, we were told we were having a boy (more than once). My OB did an US every month. We had the surprise of our lives when she was born and they said, "it's a girl!". We even had our boy's name up on the nursery wall. Hehe! True story!

Good luck with your US...how exciting!

We did our 1st ever DIUI cycle on March 21st. We got our DS from Midwest Sperm bank because they were so much cheaper than everyone else and the donor we chose had a proven pregnancy before. The day of the IUI the nurse told me that the sample was perfect...even higher numbers that the sperm bank guranteed!

I got a very faint + 10dpIUI and a nice bright line 13dpiui! Early pregnancy was pretty good to me. I only felt sick to my tummy a couple times, had a little heartburn and was tired allot earlier in the evenings.

I am 24w3d and our little girl is due 12/10! After 5 long years of ttc choosing the DIUI route was the best thing we could have ever done! DH and I couldn't be happier with our decision. I just wish it wouldn't have taken us so long to choose it.

She moves around so much lately. I just love it...I could be in a grumpy mood and feeling her move around just brings a huge smile to my face...sometimes it even tickles and I sit here at my desk giggling!

Tab11 - wishing you lots and lots of baby dust on your next IUI.

twins!

Hi, I'm new on this forum. I've been on a few others the last couple years.

We just did our first DE cycle, and it worked! had our first u/s this past Monday, and we have twins! A third embryo implanted but didn't make it (thanks to nature's process). The heartbeat of one fetus looks really strong, the other a bit weaker. So they want me back in a weak to check it out again.

We've gone through 2 miscarriages on our own, a failed IUI, 4 failed IVF's and after a 6 month break we did the DE cycle, and we have success! Its a strange feeling. Our due date is April 16th.

We are cautiously and hesitantly optimistic and excited. I feel really terribly, sick all day long, and completely fatigued. Trying to eat and drink a lot because I think that will help (and they told me too). Its not a complaint, we're so grateful, but its highly miserable!

It will be nice to get to know you on this forum!

Thanks,
newlife

Thanks for your updates Mindy and Newlife.

Mindy...your due date will be here before you know it! How exciting...a little girl. I'm so glad you're enjoying your pregnancy. BTW...our September cycle is a DE IVF.

Newlife...congratulations on your twins. I really hope all goes well with this pregnancy for you. Hopefully you get through all of the early pregnancy unpleasantries quickly and on to the fun stuff - being poked from the inside out!
