Beth: I dont understand...you have a rising beta isnt that a good sign? Why do they think it will end in a miscarriage? I am sorry, if you cannot answer my questions I totally understand. I cant imagine how you feel right now. I too would be scared and not know what to think but I am going with your DH on this one and I am also holding the flag of hope!! You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Beth,

Just read your post about the rising beta. I really hope they're wrong about a probable miscarriage. I'm sure it won't be the first time. I'm so glad there is hope!

Will be thinking about you and send all the positive vibes I have!! Keep us updated.

Beth,

Just wondering how things are going for you. Have you had any more betas? Are you still scheduled for u/s tomorrow? If so, hope everything goes well.

Hi Tab,

Today, is the big day that I go for the ultrasound. My last beta was on Sunday and it had risen from 1086 to 2280. I am hoping and praying for good news. I will fill you in later today.

Perhaps just a low Beta that was slow to rise and is now ok? Drs. don't know everything. They are human. They have been wrong before. I hope they are wrong and your u/s is a good one and you have a little miracle!

Hi everyone,

Just got back from u/s. Doctor said I was measuring about a week behind which she said she expected. She said the little one probably floated around for a while before implanting.

Unfortunately she only saw a gestational sac. She isn't worried but I am. She said because it is measuring a week early that's all she expected to see. Next week she said she wants to see a yolk sac and a fetal pole.

I did narc on the nurse who said it was unvaiable and I would miscarry. She asked who it was and I told her. I feel a little bad for the nurse, but not really. My emotions are so crazy right now.

Mav, thanks for the kind words.

Beth

Beth,

That's good news! I know you feel like you're not out of the woods yet, but at least the Dr seemed encouraged. Don't feel bad about the nurse. They need to learn how to respond appropriately. You are in a vulnerable spot, and she should have remained more neutral, rather than negative.

Things are looking up for you! Keep us posted on your next u/s.

Hi Beth!

I'm sorry I missed your news. What a hard place to be. Good for you for sharing how you felt about negative comments.

Will say a prayer for you and your baby.
