Thanks Diane... My pregnancy test is thursday week (August 16th)... I'm being a bit negative today which I am dissapointed about... I have a leg ache under my left knee which is usualyl a sign Im heading towards my period, even if I dont actually bleed that month.... I still get the symptoms...

I have 2 give myself another trigger injection tonight about 9pm (AUS time). I am drinking 2 litres of fluid a day so u can imgaine how ofter I am going to the loo to pee... hehe... I have 10 more days of the progersterone vaginal applicator cream... I feel sick and very tired but I am guessing its the progesterone cream or beign enxious about it all... Hows things with you? Hugs from DownUnder

Glenice!!!!
I hope Aug 16 gets here soon for you with your BFP!
What is the trigger shot you are taking? I thought the trigger shot was the HCG injection we take before egg retrieval -- it triggers the eggs to mature. After transfer, there are usually only progesterone injections. Are you taking something different? Just curious!
I'm doing very well, thanks for asking! My cousin & I are moving forward with out plan for her to donate eggs. THe next step is her screening by the doctor and a counselor.
All the best,
Kat

Hiyah Kat... Sorry I am only getting around to replying now. My computer **** itself a week ago and I have only gotten it returned to me fixed tonight.... I so missed being able to come online whenever I want.
All the best with your cousins egg donation tests. Hope it all works out! Keep me posted wont you!
Ok the 15 nights of progesterone is an cream applicator. My last one is tomorrow night if the blood test says I am pregnant tomorrow. The 2nd trigger I did 2 days after the embryo went in was a Pregnyl injection.. I the first one 36 hours before egg retrieval and the second was about the same time after the embryo transfer...
This may sound horrible but I have no expectations tomorrow of my pregnancy blood test. Ive had period type pain the past week (on and off) but no period yet aswell as pregnancy symptoms so who knows? I guess I will know this time tomorrow evening...
Hug's Glenice

Ok I had the pregnancy blood test today.. the Nurse rang me about 3 hours later and she was very negative right from the start.. She said that my eostrogen level was high and my pregnancy level was 35 and they liked it to be 45 and over to confirm a pregnancy so she said they think I have lost the embryo a few days after it embedded into the womb and started growing.... I said so if it says if it still says I am pregnant am I or arent I? This Nurse said I was but mite not be anymore or I still may be???? .... I was really confused..... So a friend who has also been thru IVF successfully rang them as she was said her level was too low and had to have a second test and her next test was higher 3 days later and a pregnancy was properly confirmed then...... I gave her my RMU number and she rang the clinic asked another Nurse what was going on and that Nurse said my progesterone and eostrogen and all other results were really high and were fantastic and even though they preffered my reading to be only 40 (not 45 like told to me by the previous Nurse) so it was only 5 lower than they hoped. Now I am very confused..... I had a 50-50 chjance of still being pregnant right now.... She went on to say that if I havent had a period by Monday then I have to go in for another blood test! Mind u I have been having dull feelngs in the lower pelvic are for a week now and am officially two days late..... So Im guessing if I have lost the embryo then I will get a period in the next 48 hours....Cheer's Glenice

Hi Glenice --

I'm sorry your results aren't clear!

It's possible that an embryo implanted but didn't continue to grow. That would mean there would be some hcg in your system for a while after the embryo stopped growing, but the level would drop with your next test, or your period will show up. I had one chemical pregnancy that was like that.

On the other hand, your embryo might have implanted a little bit late, and is making small amounts of hcg right now. If this is the case, your hcg level will rise when you take the next test.

I have heard of women with low hcg levels go on to have successful pregnancies, so don't give up all hope!!!!!

I hope Aunt Flo stays away and that your next beta shows strong #s!!!

Best,
Kat
