SO much estrace! ugh

They keep increasing my estrace intake....up to 3 2mg pills a day orally and now i have to actually take a pill (twice a day) and have it vaginally....WEIRD! Anyone ever have to do that before? I got the message with instructions and called to make sure I heard them right....jeeeeeze!

I had issues with estrace. My e2 was real screwy and I was up to 6 pills a day and my e2 still was dropping. They changed me to 4 pills orally and 2 vaginally and bam .. my e2 rose from 100 to 700 something in just 2 days!!! And my lining (which was already doing well) went up by 3mm. I know it seems weird but it definately did the trick for me.

Thanks for the reply - I feel better. I was so worries about it meaning there was a problem. I got no explanation about why I was increasing it to 5 pils a day, or why 2 of them had to be vaginal.....This cycle has already had enough bumps in the road. Our donor developed a cyst on one ovary and I gave to stay on lupron an extra 4+ weeks.....

On my last cycle, I was taking 8 mg of Estrace daily- 3 times I took it orally the 4th dose was done vaginally. It's supposed to get to the uterus a bit faster.

I know- I questioned it too when they told me. I said, "did I hear you right??? You want me to put the 4th pill up there??"

lol...I am still doing 2 oral and 2 vaginal estrace pills a day and 2CCs of PIO (ouch).....the ET was testerday, so I am on my 2WW now.....it can't go by fast enough! lol

In the 2WW I get 2 2 mg estrace tablets AND a prometrium gel cap vaginally, estrogen patches, and PIO. Take about a lot of poking and not in a good way.
