Hello? I'm back in action, girls! :-)

I have been away for a few months. We kept getting delayed and delayed...I decided I had to focus on me for a while and deal with the mandatory break we were put on.

Now, 30 lbs lighter (only 8lbs away from pre-fertility treatment weight!) I am ready to try again and my donor is finally ready, too. I've been on lupron for a month already due to a cyst found on one of her ovary and am READY to be done with it. I got the call today to take my anit-biotic, so they are anticipating a 7/26-27 egg retrieval.....wheeew!

I am looking forward to catching up with many ladies from my past. Sorry for "taking off" on you, but I was trying to deal the best way I know how. Anyway, I am SO glad to be back!

-Shannon

Thanks so much! I am nervous, but hopeful. I suppose I should be used to it after 3 IUIs and 4 IVFs, but after a few months of living "normally" I got used to it. Now I am finding myself trying to adjust all over again to things...

Wow, ER is this week. So excited to hear about it. Glad you took a break. Sometimes you just need to step back so you can keep fighting for your family. Glad to see you back.

Thanks. I am getting excited, but trying to stay grounded. This is our last one, so it is hard to mentally prepare for all possible outcomes, ya know? I started looking at adoption information to sort of remind myself that there is a plan-b if needed. Who knows.....

It seems that I won't be having the ET until after the 28th because they called for me to go back in that day for more labs and an u/s. hmmmm - typical. I guess things look good, but they have some follicles that they think will get bigger, so are holding off a few days.

I'll keep you posted on my ET once I know more. Thanks again for the support!

Hi ladies! Well, I am officially on my 2WW after having my ET yesterday. I am cautiously optomistic but gaining hope at an alarming rate (since I am trying to stay grounded).

Our history in a nutshell = no more than 2 embryos at a time, never any to save, and the 2 we use each time are only average.....

THIS TIME.....7 wonderful high-grade embies....4 called 'perfect,' two of which we transfered. We have 5 to save for future FETs (which we hope to not need until we've spent a couple of years chasing 1-2 toddlers around from this current cycle, lol. I am so happy with these results, but trying to keep in mind the reality of IVF.....
