Officially CD1

I go in for CD3 scan on Thursday afternoon. Hope the RE has a super-de-dooper, baby-making plan for me.

Good luck with your cycle!

Dana

Officially CD3 of ????? cycle

Warning - Feeling disappointed and gloomy.
DIUI March 12??? - big maybe. My RE does not hold out much hope for me. No injectibles this cycle--he says it's not worth it, as they are sooo expensive and I still only produced the one mature follicle that I do on my own anyway.

To placate me, instead of just doing unmedicated DIUI's, of all things, he prescribed 100 mg? of Clomid. ???????? I only have two more trys to get an egg, but I am faced with the earlier prognosis that only 1/20 of my eggs will result in a healthy, full-term baby. I am soooooo not good sport at gambling. Maybe he feels it would be 'better' if I did not have another child, based on my health/age?

Oh Dana - I'm so sorry. You're courageous to get back on the tx rollercoaster - it takes me back! Ugh! I hold out hope for you! The odds are always 12/1 anyway - takes a normally fertile couple up to 12 mo. to conceive - so is this so different? I'm probably not doing those stats very well! I must say your RE sure does sound like a doomsday kind of guy - funny you wrote that last part to your post - I was thinking the same thing. Anyway, not his place/job to judge, of course. He works for you. Sounds like a real peach fully capable of making such distinctions - NOT! Thinking very positive thoughts for you. You just NEVER KNOW!!
