Questions on Donations in Canada

Hello

I have a friend in Europe who is looking for information about egg donation in Canada.

Would you be so kind as to answer those two questions if you can so I can forward the info to her?

1. Do you have addresses of egg donation centers?
2. Do they have a website with info and prices?

Hi there,

There are no egg donations centers in Canada. There is a bylaw here that states that donors cannot receive compensation for donation. And because this is such a gray area, most clinics wont touch it. As it stands right now in Ontario at least, the only way is if it's a known donor. Or if your lucky enough to find someone to donate for you.

I am in this situation myself. My clinic could do IVF for me with DE but they would come from a US clinic and it is really expensive.

I am actually researching some options in Europe myself.
