Lightbulb Gift for ED IP's???

This is my final egg donation and for the first time I have a semi known relationship with the recipients. We chat weekly via email and I send updated pics of the family. For two of my donations, I received a small extra token of thanks and gratitude from my recipients...card, and flowers. However, this time since things are not "anonymous" I would like to get something for my IP's. Has anyone ever done this for their IP's? And what did you give? I need some ideas...(thanks Sanddollar for your response to the donor gift thread, but I figured I'd get some more advice here.) I just want to show my recipients that I'm grateful they chose me and and that I feel their pain and hope they have the baby they've wanted for so long. TIA!

A card from you listing your feelings would probably be appreciated. My donor also, after I delivered my dd sent me pics of her as a child and I've kept them for my dd when she is older and can understand the gift.

Really, the IP probably would be stunned that you even gave them anything at all...

Your gift is your eggs!!! But if you want to give a token of your appreciation to your IP's for letting them get to know you, etc... give some pictures or a nice coffee table book of your city. I know I treasured the one given to us by our 1st ED. It was simply signed to "two good friends" and something like "may our paths cross again". Now this ED we did not have any success with and that book floated away in the flood, but IF I still had it I would treasure it. She was a wonderful gal and I wished it had worked out with her. Our 2nd ED gave us Christmas ornaments and signed cards at holidays and such and also a book with some poems in it signed by her. I think something that they can remember you by (other than the precious gift of a CHILD) is a good idea!

I think a card is the perfect gift. They won't be expecting it at ALL and will be so touched by your thoughts. Anything more is too much since you are already giving them the perfect gift.

Although, I just thought of something else - something for the baby. A tiny pair of gender-neutral socks or something small that they can hold onto for the baby would be lovely.
