uterus position and fertility

Just had a check up with a new fertility specialist. He said my uterus was tilted severely to the left and anteroirly rotated. Does any one know how that would have an impact on fertility? I should have asked him but I was trying to absorb all the information.

Thanks.

I know someone that had it tilted and had trouble conceiving.

I wonder if you'd be a candidate for massages. Check this out: http://www.midwiferytoday.com/articl...inemassage.asp

Like Annaandy said, try googling the issue.

GOod luck,

CS

Makes it harder but not impossable. I have a tilted uterus as does my Mom who just had me and my aunt had one as well but she had 8 kids!!! The RE I spoke to long ago said they can do surgery and reposition the uterus. It didn't sound too bad but I did not have the surgery done.

I have been told that I have a "tipped" uterus. But, everyone has assured me that it shouldn't effect fertility. I also do alot of "body work" in my profession. You can change the location somewhat - but, I've not heard it really changing fertility rates. Believe me - if that would have helped I would have done a lot of massage/bodywork to relocate everything. But, if you're interested, you might want to check out Clear passage and viseral manipulation (Upledger Institute).I'm also assuming that if you're posting on this board there might be bigger issues? Hope this info helps.

Thanks for your reply. I do bodywork for a living as well. My pelvis has never been so balanced! Beware psoas!

Clear passages has an excellent success rate.

Thanks!
