Hi CS!!! I know - it's been ages! I was out of town for a few weeks after my first beta and then spent the next month feeling like crap!! Then, just as I hit week 12 we had what I can only describe as a terrifying experience... Out of the blue I started having heavy bleedy, blood clots, cramping. We headed right to the ER, with me in a state of shock - i was convinced that i was having a miscarriage...Miraculously the baby was still there and doing ok. They found out in the ER that i have placenta previa which means that the placenta is growing over the cervix instead of being at the top of the uterus...and that can cause all sorts of problem, including bleeding, premature birth etc. But when you have it this early, there is a chance that the placenta can still move and the situation can resolve itself. so i'm just keeping my fingers crossed...I'm on "pelvic rest" for the time being - not bedrest but no real activity of any sort. and lots of doctor's appointments!
I'm alot more anxious and paranoid thn I was before, but doing my best to stay positive. What a journey all of this is!!

I was so happy to read that things are moving forward for you at long last and sending you lots of positive energy and vibes.... May 2007 be your year!!!

Thanks for the update I hope the placenta previa resolves itself as you describe it. When is your due date? You have quite a way to do, don't you. August?

Glad it's under control I sure hope to join you soon. Keep us posted.
