Anyone using or have used FET with donor embryo

Went in to talk to my RE about the blood work I had to do IUI with donor sperm. My day three FSH was 15.2 I did five days of Clomid and had second FSH of 15.9.

He thinks the odds are stacked high against me getting pregnant with my eggs. He stated we could give it a try but felt my chances were better to just to an unmediated cycle with donor sperm and hope to great timing. He even felt my odds were slim to do IVF with donor sperm due to egg quality. He suggested donor egg and donor sperm. I told him that was much too expensive and would be cheaper to use donor embryo. He does not do this. Told me to call Snow Flakes. I know that I looked into this a few years ago and they too were every expensive.

I called my old RE and they offer FET with donor embryo. The cost will be between 3,000 to 4,000. They told me I am not too old for the program, I will be 42 in March but as long as I deliver before I turn 50. God I hope it would not take me that long.

Just want to know if anyone has gotten pregnant or has children from FET with donor embryo.

Hi! I have a 22 month old son through donor embryos. He is wonderful. I can't imagine loving another child any more than I love him. If you have specific questions or just want to hear about what led up to our using donor embryos, feel free to email me at janet_presley@hotmail.com.
