Nervous... 2ww almost finished...

I'm currently day 11 post my 4th IUI. I'm very nervous. I don't feel a thing. No symptoms what-so-ever.

DH and I had a consultation with our RE yesterday. He recommended a lap if the 4th IUI failed (Please Please make it work!!!). I'm nervous and scared. I want this cycle to work so badly.

AF is due Superbowl Sunday. DH and I are not going anywhere. We are going to watch the Superbowl at home. I don't think I can take it in front of a group one way or the other. I don't want to show that I'm thrilled or depressed in front of people. I haven't POAS-ed this cycle (I'm scared to see a negative), and I will try not to.

Please, No AF! No AF! Also how bad is a lap? Have any of you nice ladies done it?

Susan

Hang in there Susan. I'm not sure I would have had the meeting with the RE anticipating bad things; it kills the mood. I hope it's BFP You're PUPO, remember that; symptoms mean nothing. Everyone is different.

I hear you about killing the mood, CS. But my RE is on vacation all week next week, so if we don't meet him early, we have to wait for him to come back from vacation. There's currently a wait for the lap at his office too.

We really didn't expect a negative (We expect and want it to be positive very badly). But we don't want to skip too many months, so we meet him early.

I hope I didn't jinx myself by doing that...

Susan

First of all, remember that the outcome after your 2ww is something you have no control over. You did the best you can - and hopefully this is it for you.

If not, your journey is not over.

Yes, I've had a lap. It wasn't bad at all, and it did help find out what was going on with me.

Recovery was quick - within a day, I was back to normal. I know some people take a little longer.

The absolute scariest part is right before you go under and you know you are about to have surgery. I always hate going under.

I hope that you get your BFP this time and that you don't have to worry about anything else.

Thanks for the encouragement, ladies. I took my body temperature this morning, and it dropped from 98.6 to 98.1... I don't POAS, but I use my body temperature to tell me... I think my AF is on the way because temp. dipped right before AF for me...

I'm so frustrated... Lord, PLEASE, I'm ready, I promise to be a good mom... Could you PLEASE make me pregnant?!

Nooooo peeking! Thermometers are now on my evil list, too. Don't let it dictate your mood. You're PUPO.
