Angela,

OMG! You conceived TWO babies from two mature follicles after the egg donor talk from three REs? That is incredibly amazing!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Wow! Yes, your post has really picked me up. No injectibles either. Wow!

I've managed to find several reports to read about how/why Femara/Letrozole is used for mature women (or women scheduled for breast cancer). Especially those with former poor response.

Many of the studies they did they prescribed 2.5 to 5 mg of Femara for five days, then 75 iu of injectibles. So I'm wondering what is going to happen with me with taking 225 iu daily of Puregon?

I thought I was not going to fret too much with ttc this year, but I guess I am more attached to having another baby than I thought. I've been seeing newborns throughout the day this past week.

Are you posting on the due date boards? Which month, so I can check on how you and your babies are doing?

Thank you for taking the time to boost my flagging enthusiasm.

Dana,

Oh hun I'm so glad I could boost your spirits! I know how hard it is when the RE's are so doom and gloom. I'm quite frankly still in shock that I ever managed one baby with my crappy eggs, much less got pg with 2 more from only 2 eggs! LOL!

I'm technically due in Aug so I post on the Aug dd bb. I've not been too active there yet as sever m/s has been keeping me offline a lot.

I'm not sure what will happen either with the 225 iu, but it seems like it can't hurt. I'm really pulling for you!!! I hope you get to beat the odds too and throw it in that mean RE's face!

Also I do highly recommend eating flaxseed or other foods high in omega 3. I really think that helped with my poor egg quality as well.

Good luck. I'll be checking in frequently to watch your progress!!!

Angela
