Question Meds

Has anyone who has done Donor Sperm also used fertility meds?
Which meds did you use, and for how many days?

All of my cycles using donor sperm were medicated. Cycle one and two were the same ...

Clomid (50) day 3-7
Puregon (50) day 7-11
Ovidrel to trigger.

Cycle one produced one follie, BFN. Cycle two produced one follie, BFP that ended in a missed m/c at 11 weeks.

After recovering from the miscarriage we tried another cycle with a bit of change to it. Instead of Clomid I was prescribed Femera (letrazole) can't remember the dosage ... for day 3-7 and followed the same protocol with the Puregon and Ovidrel. This cycle produced 3 follies and resulted in a BFP that turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. We are going to try one last time using diui and that will be it for us.

Hope that helps you

I used no meds to conceive my DS, however, if the double IUI didn't take the first time, I did have a rx for Letrozole (Femera) that I filled and was to start the following month.
