Average Cost for Donor Eggs w/insurance

I just had another failed IVF#4. I have a problem w/bad fragmentation...cant get embies to stick. I'm 41 this month and w/have post BFN meeting w/RE end of month, I believe he might raise this option. I was just wondering with my insurance coverage what will cost be out of pocket for Donor eggs?

Thank you,
Paulette

Hi Paulette,
So sorry to hear about your BFN. I know how difficult it can be. DH and I just started the DE process and our insurance will cover the medical costs for the donor and myself (including meds), but doesn't cover agency and screening fees. Just got an estimate from the Agency and we are expecting to pay approx $18,000 out of pocket.

Good Luck with everything!
