Considering donor sperm

Due to a genetic issue with DH and I (we are carriers for a fatal bone disease) we are considering donor sperm. We've never gotten to this point before, but after four failed pregnancies, including two of them that were considered stillbirths, we were told by my OB that, due to genetic incompatibilities between me and DH, it was unlikely we'd ever carry a child to term or if we did, the child will have severe congenital deformities.
Is anyone else in that situation? DH wants us to do donor sperm rather than adoption.

Hi there we used donor sperm with the first child we conceived as my dh is sterile. We are ttc #2 and will be using donor sperm. We had good luck with CA cryobank but it's a little on the spendy side. We didn't realize until we called last time that if one donor doesn't work and you still have vials available in storage you can get 50% back if they are stored at the bank which I think is a plus with everyone a person has to deal with. The sperm is a little spendy. for anoymous donor it's a little cheaper but they have a few open donors. I wish you the best of luck in what you decide.....
