Oscer, how's it going?

Did you have your second ultrasound?

Looking forward to hearing your good news!

Hi Genie. I've been on vacation. Before we went I started to have some brown spotting. I tried to get my us moved up. They wouldn't. They said it could aggrivate the bleeding. I had some more brown spotting up until yesterday. I also had a very small drop of red blood 2 days ago. I am going crazy. I begged to have my us moved but they are making me wait until the 15th. Which is worse the stress or the probe? How are you doing??? I also don't think the 7 hour car ride to the beach helped anything. We did stop every 2 hours but I'm so nervous. I can't function. This is all I think about.

Oscer, I had a lot of brown spotting, too. Mine just ended at about 7.5 weeks and it was always greater after an u/s. I was told the spotting could be attributed to an empty sac that is still in my uterus, right near the baby. There is fluid around it that I was told could show itself in spotting.

Don't give up hope. I've done so many searches on spotting and really learned that it's super common in early pregnancy and most often is absolutely nothing to be concerned with.

I hope you had a relaxing vacation, despite the spotting. Don't worry about the drive, stopping every few hours was the right thing to do. I know how every little thing we do can make us worry but you're doing everything you can for your baby.

Are you at 8 weeks now? If so, have you thought about calling them back and saying you don't care if the u/s might bring on my spotting, you want to make sure everything is okay? I'm just such a worry wort, I insisted on getting the u/s when I needed the reassurance.

I hope the time goes quickly and you can find some peace within the next few days. You're in my prayers.
