DI...when did you go in? & acup. question
Hi Ladies,
I'm getting ready to do my 3rd diui and the nurse just called telling me to trigger w/Ovidrel TONIGHT and to go in on Sat. for insemination. Today is only cd8 for me which means that I will be going in on cd10. On Wed. I went in for an u/s and had a 12 & 11 on the rt. and a 16, 11, 10 & 10 on the left. Today my e2 level was 224. What do you guys think? Is it early? For my past two diuis I went in on cd12 and cd13. This is the last of the ds that we bought and I REALLY want things to go well but, am nervous that it's too early. Anyone else go in this early and get a BFP???? Also, I just started acup. w/this cycle. I went today and will go again tomorrow but, how often should I go during the 2ww? Any stories or input would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Julie

Thanks Emily, I spoke to my acup. when I saw him today and will be going to acup. tomorrow a few hours after DI and then once more about a week later (exactly as your acup. recommends too!). I hope this works!!!
Best of luck to you!! Julie |

I'm chiming in here late, but I think you were triggered at least a day too early. Is your clinic not open on Sundays? I can't figure out why they triggered you with only a probable 18mm follie leading the group? Did you end up with another scan before the IUI to see what was going on with your ovaries?

Hi Kylie, thanks for your response.
My clinic is open on Sun. I called the nurses back twice when they told me to trigger to question why I was triggering so early. They were both very patient and assured my that my LH was surging and that follies tend to grow at about 2mm/day so that would put my follies at 18 & 17 on the rt. and 22, 17,16 & 16 on the lt. by my iui on Sat (4dp last u/s). They also assured me that the RE believed that an iui on Sat. would be optimal. I questioned another nurse just before my iui and she said that most likely I was triggered because my LH was surging and they didn't want to miss that window (I missed that window w/my last cycle...big mess...but, long story short I had O before iui and got a bfn ). I'm still nervous but, also in the 2ww so...I'm going to trust and try to remain calm and positive. My beta is on 8/12...keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. Thanks again, Julie |
