When will these headaches STOP!!!! preg ment

I will be 6 wks on Friday. About how long will I have to wear these **** Climara estrogen Patches?? Anyone Know?? They give me Migrains.

Sorry to hear you're still getting those migraines. Since last time we spoke we concluded they could be hormonal, it may be that the patch is at fault although since pregnancy is rather hormonal

you may still be getting a few here and there.

Have you checked with your RE to see if there are ways to avoid them if it's the patch, do they have something comparable they could give you? Are there different types of estrogen, meaning different sources, could that be it? I would call him.

I feel for you, migraines are a nightmare and chronic ones are a true nuisance; you simply dread them. When I get them my best bet is to recline in a dark quiet room and focus on the outter corner of both my eyes, relax my jaw and every muscle on my face; it takes all my might. I put a flax seed bag scented with lavender essential oil on my forehead, some like it frozen, and put some lavender oil on a little dish with a bit of water in front of the fan. I also tell everyone that the room is off limit for a couple of hours. It's the only way for me.
