Out of the Woods?

Does anyone know when you are truely out of the woods for a miscarriage? I worry a little about that and need to find an answer. When we all want so bad to be pregnant and carry the baby to full term this thought pops up. Any advise. I know there are no guarantees in this field..

There are no guarantees but I think I read on here that once you hear the heartbeat, 95% of pregnancies result in live births.

So I would say that is the time when you can relax and enjoy.

Like Crystal said, your chances of m/c go down drastically once you see a h/b & they go down a little more after you're out of the 1st trimester. Don't worry your entire pregnancy away. Bask in the glory of what you've finally acheived because your pregnancy will go VERY fast & you don't want to look back & kick yourself because you worried the entire pregnancy away!

That is what I was told also. Once you see the h/b your chances of m/c decrease tremendously.

The plan is retrieval on the 26th and transplant on the 29th. I'll get a better idea of where we are on the schedule tomorrow. I go in to check how my lining is coming along.

I hope once you have your U/S, you feel a little better and can relax and sing to your baby rather than worry. I can't wait to be able to do that!!!

Let us know as soon as you hear something, and I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a nice strong H/B!!!

I've heard the babies heartbeat 3 times already and I'm still worried about a miscarriage.

Good luck on Tuesday!!!

I hope both Sasha and you are out of the woods. The H/B is a good indicator, getting out of the 1st tri is a great indicator, but the reality is, I think as a momma you aren't ever going to stop worrying about your babes.

Best of luck,

Emily
